Tour Plan
At 8 a.m., the driver and tour guide from IDC Travel will reach your Hanoi hotel to pick you up. You'll then head towards Hoa Binh and halt at various spots suited for taking beautiful photographs along the way. Additionally, you'll stop by a small market of Muong Ethnic Minority to understand their daily activities and traditions. Finally, you'll experience the stunning Thung Khe Pass' scenic beauty.
We will reach Lac Village at roughly noon and get comfortable in our chosen accommodation, which could be a homestay or hotel. Then, we plan to have lunch either at a restaurant located close-by or in a nearby village.
Following our lunch and a brief pause, we will join our tour guide for a bike excursion to witness farmers actively working in the fields and observe locals engaged in weaving scarves using traditional techniques. During this visit, we can even try our hand at weaving and also purchase some of the products. Later, we will leisurely cycle through serene villages.
Free time to go about and shop before supper (optional to eat dinner and see the Thai traditional dance and drink the traditional wine “ruou can”).
Overnight stay in a remote village/hotel
Morning: Following our morning meal, we embark on a journey towards Pu Luong via a breathtaking mountain pass that offers an unobstructed view of the valley. You'll have the opportunity to explore and appreciate the beautiful rural landscape before enjoying your midday meal.
Afternoon: We will start descending towards a beautiful valley, where you can explore the cascading rice terraces and walk on narrow paths surrounded by greenery until you reach a charming village at the base of an impressive mountain. Your camera might struggle to capture steady shots because of the stunning scenery.
As you descend into the valley, you'll journey through various landscapes such as roads, farms, communities, wild fields, ponds, rivers, mountains, and open spaces. Take pleasure in the constantly evolving surroundings while trekking towards a magnificent destination. Following that, you'll be driven back to your lodging or retreat for dinner and an overnight stay.
Following your breakfast, you'll be taken to a suspension bridge that stretches over the Cham River, where you'll embark on a journey to explore stunning water wheels. You will have the chance to observe each wheel up close and learn about the process of conveying water from the river to the various types of handcrafted bamboo aqueducts with diverse diameters.
Upon reaching the abode of a nearby fisherman, you can relax for a bit before commencing your rafting adventure. Drift along the calm river and appreciate the surroundings while acquiring knowledge on how to maneuver and guide your self-made rafts.
After lunch, we’ll return to your Hanoi hotel and wrap off your trip at 5 PM.
